Sufi Tahbazof Hariri

 

Sufi was born and raised in San Francisco and her love for the Bay Area drove her to fulfill her undergraduate and graduate degrees locally. 

 

Sufi obtained a B.A. from University of San Francisco and her J.D. from University of Santa Clara School of Law. While pursuing her graduate degree, Sufi worked as a paralegal at the Schinner Law Group in San Francisco and as a judicial extern for the Honorable Justice Nathan Mihara at Santa Clara County Court of Appeal and for the Honorable Judge Thang Barrett at the Santa Clara County Superior Court. 

 

After being admitted to the California State Bar, Sufi worked as a solo practitioner until she opened a law partnership with her brother, Yosef, upon his graduation and admittance to the California State Bar.

 

In addition to running a partnership, Sufi is involved in charitable work through her family’s non-profit foundation, Tahbazof Family Foundation, and provides pro bono services as often as possible.

Yosef was born and raised in San Francisco and his love for the city drove his decision to attend law school there. 

 

Yosef obtained a B.S. in Accounting from University of Santa Clara and his J.D. from University of California, Hastings College of Law. While pursuing his graduate degree, Yosef worked as a Transfer Pricing and Corporate Accounting at Price Waterhouse Coopers. At Price Waterhouse Coopers, he implemented corporate guidlelines and GAAP to prepare unified documents for the financial reporting of traded corporations and translated complex financial information into user-friendly formats for clientele. He reviewed and researched Transfer Pricing Division guarantee agreements, capital infusion agreements and capital support agreements.   

 

After being admitted to the California State Bar, Yosef opened a law partnership with his sister, Sufi. They have been running a successful business ever since.

 

In addition to running a partnership, Yosef services as a Commissioner on the San Francisco Assessment Appeals Board.
